All carvings are created freehand without the use of any patterns. This makes we feel a collectible one of a kind piece of artwork. Each piece has been coated in a marine grade varnish, which includes a UV protectant. We have tested this over a 6 month period of time to insure against lose of color. Each piece is numbered, dated and signed by wood burning on the backside. Only glass eyes are ever used on any carving. DryRiver has been carving now for over 30 years, since leaving the boat building business. A long time welder and fabricator, now wood working has become a full time love. I also do canvas, and mural work, but wood remains the favorite. A mixed blood Native American who lives with her mate and 3 rescued kitties. Absolutely wonderfull work! My question is...why such a low but resonable price? I would expect similar art to sell in the $200-$400 range. Obviously you really enjoy what you'e doing, and it shows!! CR Richards
